Loom Seat Audit & Creator-Lite Migration Calculator
Paste a seat export, get a reclassification table and the annual arithmetic. Free. Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Who it's for: a workspace admin preparing a Loom renewal or an Atlassian billing change, who wants a Keep / Move / Archive split from their own counts.
How a seat is classified
Name, email, phone, and other identity columns are dropped before a row is counted. Results show counts only.
- Archive & Export: a Creator or Admin row whose 90-day video count is 0.
- Move to Free Creator Lite/Viewer: a Creator or Admin row with a 30-day video count of 0 (and the 90-day count is not 0), or a Creator or Admin row that still recorded in the last 30 days but whose recorded-minutes cell is a plain number of 5 or less. In the count boxes, this bucket is the 30-day zeros that are not 90-day zeros, plus the view-only or occasional group you enter.
- Keep Creator: every other Creator or Admin row with a usable activity number. Count-box mode: billed Creator seats, minus 30-day zeros, minus the view-only group.
- Already Creator Lite or Viewer: a row whose role cell says Creator Lite or Viewer. These are not added to the savings line. Atlassian Support says Creator Lite is discontinued when a workspace is integrated with Atlassian, and those users become paid Creator seats until an admin changes or deactivates them. Legacy Loom billing described Creator Lite as not billed. Check the roles your plan still offers.
The count boxes must not overlap. A person with 0 videos in 90 days is also a person with 0 videos in 30 days, so the 90-day number cannot be larger than the 30-day number. View-only seats are everyone else you would move, not people already inside the 30-day zero count.
A blank activity cell is not treated as zero. A video count must be a whole number. Recorded minutes must be a plain number such as 5 or 4.5. This page does not read a clock time.
Atlassian Support says a downgraded Creator keeps Creator access until the end of the billing period already paid, and that price examples on the billing page are illustrations. The annual line below is your entered rate times the seats this page puts in Archive or Move. It is not an invoice.
1. Paste rows or enter counts
CSV with a header row. Columns this page can use: role (or seat, plan, license), 30-day videos, 90-day videos, recorded minutes. A header that says name, email, user, or phone is dropped. If the paste box has data rows, the count boxes are ignored.
Or leave the box empty and enter counts that do not overlap.
